Tagged.......

So, I was tagged by Lynette yesterday and am finally getting around to my reveal.
Seven random facts about ME................

I like to have lots of clean surfaces in my house........I don't collect anything but, wish I did. I spend time thinking about what I would collect, so I guess I am a "conceptual collector".

I nursed both my children for almost two years.

I have never seen E.T. the movie, not a fan of Sci-fi or cartoons.

When I was young I wanted to be a crime scene investigator.

Since we bought our house I have realized how much I love to do yard work.

My father was in the Army and we moved every two-three years. So, I don't have one friend that I have known my whole life.

I believe I might suffer from adult ADD, I always thought it was just my personality.

So, there you go, random facts about me and I guess I need to tag some other bloggers so here you go. I am tagging the following people........

Tonia Mayton
Mike Duffy
Tedd McDonah
Samantha
Steph

okay so, I broke the rules and only tagged 5 bloggers. Something else you should know about me...I don't like to follow rules.

THE RULES:**Link to your tagger and list these rules on your blog.*Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.* Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their name as well as links to their blog.* Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

So in the past weeks I have introduced my almost four year old daughter to the world of Oz. She is over the moon, in love, can't get enough of "The Wizard of Oz" movie. She has a birthday coming up after Christmas and I have been doing some shopping with her in mind. I was very excited of all the Oz goods I was able to come across! Pillows, doll clothing (which I already bought), magnets but, I really wanted a set of rubber stamps to give her. I could not find any on etsy or locally, oh well, I will keep you posted on soon to come party.....................

Turning 40

Sorry to all the other Saturday Shopping Listers, I was not able to get a list together this week. I did a craft show yesterday all day and worked down to the wire on Friday to get prepared. Today is my 40th Birthday! I am just enjoying a day loving on my beautiful children and my wonderful husband!! I feel so lucky to have my sweet life and want to spend the day being grateful.

New In My Shop.......Campfire!!

I wanted to post this new Discovery Tote I just added to my shop! This one is a Campfire, all made from fabric, new polyfil and copper wire. I had been thinking about this one for a while, after several attempts.......TA DA!!! Here it is! My son has already asked for this one for Christmas. I am planning on making more before Christmas if anyone is wondering.

This Discovery Tote comes with 3 logs, 4 marshmallows, 2 sticks, 3 flames and 3 brown and 1 black felt tops for the marshmallows. You know after they are toasted (or burnt), then you can add the felt topper. All the Marshmallows have a opening in the bottom for the stick to insert. So adorable I must say!!

So, a couple of things going on with me..... I just finished downloading images to the next papernstitch exhibition. It opens today... so go check out my work!! Also, I have my shopping list to show you and it is all about owls this week. It seems owls are very popular these days, they remind me of the 70's. I am searching for a gift for a fellow owl lover. I was looking for some illustrative images of owls and here are some real beauties I came across. Jasper the Feelbie Lands on Etsy Front Page!!

I never even got to see this one! I must say I was working very diligently in my studio most of the day and night yesterday. Although, I had a sneaking suspicion that this treasury would land on the front page. It was curated by Yaelfran who has a lovely shop on etsy and these were some of her favorites. I really love the broach by Julie Pollen who happens to be in my favorites too.

I don't know what it is about water towers but when ever I am traveling I always look for them in the landscape. I am definitely attracted to the shape and structure. When I am designing I use a similar shape, maybe there is a connection? Here are some I found for my shopping list.
